The homeowners had four asks. They wanted to expand their storage and room in the basement along with improving the common living space and adding a master suite to the main floor. They also wanted a screened porch for entertaining, but didn’t want to lose their deck. With a new two-story addition, they gained both space and storage in the cellar. The first floor master suite replacing the existing deck added single floor living convenience. On the dining room side of the home, a new enlarged deck with an enclosed screened porch in the middle opened and expanded the newly renovated kitchen and dining areas into the outdoors.
